Hirudoid is used for haematomas, softening of hard scars and inflamed veins. Hirudoid improves the appearance of bruises, inhibits inflammation, relieves pain and tension in the afflicted region and shortens the duration of the problem.

Indications:
General Care of the veins (prevention of phlebitis)
Inflamed varicose veins
Softening of hard scars
To improve scars of injuries, burns, surgical operations etc
Leg ulcers (varicose or gravitational ulcers)
Follow-up treatment after sclerosing of varicose veins
Superficial phlebitis and thrombosis
Exudates, oedema, haematomas
Various inflammatory processes, e.g. furuncles, carbuncles, lymphadenitis

Composition:
Mucopolysaccharide polysulfate( Organo-heparinoid "Luitpold" ),corresponding to 25000 U. determined by means of APTT to 100g .
